NOTE: This is an in-office position requiring you to work through our offices in DHA Phase 4 with timings based on UK working hours, namely from 1PM to 10PM. (Changing according to Daylight Savings)
This vacancy is for a boutique litigation law firm and we work from offices based in the historic Middle Temple in the City of London. We are looking for a Paralegal with LLB or LLM (UK Degree) to provide support to the legal teams and individual lawyers and workgroups as they learn the fundamentals of operating within a professional legal service.
Would suit dedicated and hard-working graduates with a strong academic background; committed to learning new professional skills and gaining legal knowledge and those holding a genuine desire to support the firm’s solicitors and barristers and follow their guidance.
Your normal hours of work will be 40 hours per week, to be worked during the hours of 9am Time UK to 6pm UK Time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive with a lunch break of one hour (to be utilised at noon UK).
Key Tasks & Duties:
Electronic administration of files in our paperless office
To support the team and individual fee earners, with
administrative tasks and action work as delegated by others
Electronic document & file management & bundling
Archiving & retrieval of file and shredding requests
Providing telephone reception cover
Answering phone calls and greeting clients
Liaising with clients, including the receipt of key documents
Liaising with Chambers and mediation venues
Filing documents on our systems & Court where necessary
Ensuring incoming & outgoing post is dealt with effectively
Provide team support with data entry and information
Diarising key events & ensuring tasks/diaries maintained
Conducting a daily agenda/calendar check with a partner
Opening new matter instructions accurately
Ensure work issues or problems are reported immediately
Any other tasks required to support the team
Desired skills:

Good IT skills – able to open, read, input & edit, Word,
Excel and Outlook documents and use Clio CMS;
Excellent communication skills with a professional manner;
