Marketing Communications Officer

Job Purpose: Support to develop and execute cost effective and high-calibre marketing communication across the dnata Travel Group. Ensure all activity builds a consistent brand, communications and advertising identity that adheres to guidelines. Job Outline: - Support in the planning of tactical marketing and communication plans for assigned brand. Have a reasonable understanding of the business requirements. - Responsible for producing monthly activity reports to be shared with the business including all post campaign analysis, budget tracking and PR and social metrics. - Support the execution of campaigns across all channels for assigned business, ensuring that overall campaign is of the right quality and is aligned to business KPIs. - Support with agency management during implementation of campaigns to ensure timely delivery and quality as per the agreed brief. Escalate any issues or concerns to the Manager. - Work collaboratively with assigned business, in particular the commercial team. Understand and interpret all marketing briefs. - Responsible for leading on the production of all external client newsletters from understanding the business brief, to copywriting production and creative execution. Using the shared support functions to deliver these on time and to budget. - Ensure customer experience and brand are fully represented in campaigns across all touchpoints in all defined markets. - Support Marketing Manager with all invoicing and supplier management requirements.

Qualifications & Experience: Marketing & Media Communication.Advertising : 3+ Years 12 Years schooling or equivalent : Graduate with 1 years experience in a global marketing department Knowledge/skills: - Fully competent in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint - High level of interpersonal and communication skills are essential - Ability to coordinate several activities at once, quickly analyze and resolve specific problems. Able to manage multpiple tight deadlines - Should be detail-oriented, flexible and decisive. - Understanding of sales channels (B2B and B2C), direct and indirect, retail and online. - Must be able to articulate clearly and concisely in both the written and spoken form. Excellent (English language) communication skills are a paramount importance. - The jobholder must have experience of developing integrated marketing communications briefs, formulating and managing budgets and activity plans, producing and implementing marketing communication campaigns within brand guidelines and campaign media planning. - The ability to think of creative solutions is important, as is the ability to keep motivated whilst working on several projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines. Senior Brand Manager – Gulf & Jordan is responsible for the Coordination with Franchise and Marketing Manager in the development and execution of the annual AOP for the markets. He/she is responsible for Category / Brands / Trade Marketing plans.

The Associate Manager has to have full understanding of the impact of all marketing & trade marketing activities on their brands / consumers / shoppers / customers and bottling organization


Key accountabilities for the role include:


Jointly develop and deploy of category/brand plans through using the material received from global/regional teams as well as developing local content in a way that maximizes local consumer & shopper preference

Maintain and keep up-to-date business procedures and test scripts; execute control activities as designed and update the process owner with any change in the process. Complete Quarterly self-testing by prescribed deadlines and remediate ineffective controls by the date agreed with process owner and the Internal Control team

Support in the development of the marketing calendar by quarter leveraging global and regional initiatives consistent with brand strategy, and AOP objectives

Jointly develop brand’s packaging, promotional, sponsorship programs development consistent with the brand marketing calendar, quarterly initiatives plan

Responsible for Campaign Development of local market-wide 360-consumer campaigns from insights to ideation to development to launch and execution (media-to-shelf) for the assigned category

Develop POSM that is tested, fit for purpose, and within the agreed quantities and costs

Unify look and feel of POSM across the region and partner with the bottler teams to execute them

Complete Promotional Evaluations for major activities and make clear recommendations for future plans based on the conclusions

Provide all necessary input to AOP & JBP documentation for Channel Strategy & Planning

Deliver a rolling 24-month activity plan by Category and Channel

Define a clear vision of what in-store excellence looks like for each category and channel. This includes recommended planograms

Define, agree and communicate clear execution targets for all key activities within the Channel Category Plan

Track and monitor effectiveness of new POSM ideas and tools recommending way forward and leveraging best practices across the Sector.
