You're in luck! We need a 3D Animator to join our team and work with our lead Creative Director to bring our 3D art and cinematics to life on a per-project basis. Can work remotely.



Responsibilities:


Draft and animate numerous 3D cinematics and sequences.


Collaborate closely on existing and future projects with numerous teams.


Possess both technical and artistic expertise to push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to numerous quality and brand guidelines.


Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all members of the team.


Properly and accurately gauge timelines required for completion of work.



Requirements:


A reel and online portfolio showcasing numerous examples of current up-to-date work.


Previous experience with 3D animation.


Able to work independently when needed.


A passion for games.

Motion Designers apply their knowledge of design, animation, digital video and interactive media to produce work that’s both inspiring and relevant.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively complete 2D & 3D animation and motion graphic assignments for branded content, web spots, integrated video projects, presentations and highlight reels

Stay current with technical and digital video developments to ensure high quality work and effective processes

Leads special projects as needed within area of expertise


TASKS

Understand the creative brief and provide unique, relevant and strategic ideas as part of the project team

Create motion graphic animations to be used in live action videos or as stand alone projects

Complete revisions to existing video projects upon request

Help digital team maintain the agency’s broadcast and motion portfolio as well as any case study reels

Assist creative team during design & conceptualization process

Provide assets to social media team to use as content for Planit promotion

Lead various projects as needed for large client work: taking notes, communicating/delegating out and monitoring progress

Develop content for new business pitches and client presentations

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in motion media, animation, film and television or comparable or at least 1 – 3 years of relevant professional experience

Experience with an agency or digital shop is a plus

Familiar with Cinema 4D & supporting programs, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and various compression software

Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and listening

Self-motivated and a natural multitasker—ready and willing to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Great attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit

As a reminder, Article XXXIII, A., d. of SEA contact language states, “When making a request for transfer 20 work days prior to the first day of pre-plan and during the school year, the teacher must obtain a release from the administrator of the present work center. The Space Advanced Visualization Immersive Design team is looking for a chief creative lead with a “cinematic eye” to assume the role of team lead for an established 3D animation team. This candidate will lead the creative process from a technical standpoint to achieve the storytelling aspect of immersive experiences, VR/AR applications, and modeling requests for Pulsar. Pulsar is an advanced, configurable visualization center for the immersive display of digital concepts, scenarios, modeling, simulation, and war gaming. The successful candidate for this position is a knowledgeable, experienced professional that is capable of shaping design architectures and leading a creative team for real-time graphics applications that utilize 3D models, animations, and visual effects based on customer requirements.

In this role you will work hand in hand with management to assist with project scoping, delegation of tasks towards the completion of projects, while also assisting with completion of projects. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the entire 3D pipeline. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3D tools and real time render engines (MODO, MAYA, MAX, BLENDER, UNITY, UNREAL etc.) to create high-quality, realistic hardware, environments and textured 3D assets that are production ready and optimized for maximized performance. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are required. The candidate will work closely with management to relay assignments and prepare art assets efficiently to allow for rapid iteration of application design and aesthetics.

Additional responsibilities include fostering a knowledge sharing environment, outlining best practices, building reference documentation, finding commonality with adjacent 3D design teams across the organization, contributing to long term strategy, and cultivating a growth-mindset culture.

Basic Qualifications:

Significant experience in polygon modeling, texturing, and animation for real-time development and experience leading a 3D team is preferred


Experience with non-linear editing software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier


An understanding of physically-based rendering (PBR) textures and shaders.


Ability to create textures using tools such as Substance Painter, Photoshop and Illustrator


Experience integrating assets into a real-time engine such as Unity or Unreal.


The ability to interface with all levels of customers, including executive leadership

Desired Skills:

Advanced knowledge of a 3D modeling package such as MODO, Max or Maya


Familiar with CAD data and conversion to create optimized polygon meshes


Ability to develop non-linear scripts for story driven presentations.


Experience working with desktop, mobile and VR/AR applications.


Ability to create large multi-screen presentations with industry standard show controllers such as Pandora.


Solid background in traditional arts included but not limited to painting, illustration, design or traditional media.
